Dear First Love,
Thank you for teaching me about love. About what it means to be in a relationship, what it means to consider others, and how to manage heartache. The ups and downs were real, and so were we. You were my first love, but I always knew deep down that we wouldn’t be together forever. We were never destined to be together, but the time we had was passionate and true.

Advice for past love: Tone down the bullshit, be yourself, it was never hard loving the real you.
